African Sculpture Trunk
Overview:
Students will have the opportunity to explore a variety of sculptural forms from various regions and time periods of African History. Lesson plans are included that give a background on each object and a project that will deepen the student's understanding of the significance of the art work and help make connections to their own experiences.
