How to Register for Graduate Credit:

Registration at Hamline is a 2-part process: registering as a student, followed by signing up for your course.  Begin by going to www.hamline.edu/registration and scroll down to Graduate Level Continuing Education. Click on Professional Development for Educators and follow the directions for becoming a new or a continuing student.

Once you are registered as a Hamline student, enter the Piperline system (www.hamline.edu/piperline) to register for your class:

·      Choose Student Services, then Registration,  then Register/Add/Drop Classes;

·      Select a term (make sure to choose Summer 2009) and click Submit;

·      On the Add Classes Worksheet, enter the 5-digit crn listed above and click Submit Registration (only the 5-digit crn and no other part of the course number may be entered into this box—please type this number carefully!);

·      On the Registration Start Date Confirmation, you will need to enter a Start Date in the mm/dd/yyyy format.  If you register before the first day of the class (preferred), enter the actual start date for the class.  If you register after the first day of the class, you must enter the date on which you are registering.  You will not be able to register online after the end date of the class and will then need to use a paper registration form.  Leave the End Date blank and click Submit Registration.

From www.hamline.edu/piperline, with the ID and PIN generated during the registration process, you can now log in to Piperline's secure area at any time and see which courses you are registered for, access grades, and see your past course history.  You may call Chris Miller at 651-523-2028 or email him at cmiller24@hamline.edu if you have questions about the registration process.

You may register for either course up until 12/31/09.
