| Multicultural Resource Center | | | | The Problem Solver is a community conflict resolution tool used by tribal groups in Congo. As a part of our collection, this piece has been selected to be on the banner of our website because it is hoped that the MRC will function in a similar capacity in helping to resolve the problem of the achievement gap and create truly equitable and inclusive learning environments for all of our students. | The Multicultural Resource Center, MRC, is a resource that is available
to all East Metro Integration District member teachers and educators.
The MRC has materials available for check out that will assist
educators in implementing multicultural and interdisciplinary learning
in their classrooms.
The MRC offers books, videos, artifacts,
realia, periodicals, and more, available to help educators create an
inclusive learning environment in classrooms and educational settings.
The MRC is a joint project of EMID, the East Metro Integration District, and the Saint Paul Public Schools.
The
MRC is located on the first floor, inside of Arlington Senior High
School, at 1495 Rice Street, located just off of Rice Street, on
Nebraska Avenue.
HOURS: We have general browsing and checkout hours from 1-4 pm on Mondays and Thursdays and from 2-6 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. All other times are by appointment.
